Meet the Mermaid

I’m Jordan and while I’m not really a mermaid (sigh), they’ve always been one of my favorite mythical creatures, particularly Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Her sense of curiosity and adventure is one that always resonated with me - a kindred explorer spirit if you will.

During my sophomore year of college, I spent a semester studying abroad at Harlaxton College in Grantham, England. While I’ve always loved to travel, it was here that my wanderlust multiplied tenfold and hasn’t gone down since.

I’ve been to 14 countries (and counting) and countless cities, exploring the beauty of the world we live in. I love to write, so I started this blog as a way to not only capture my thoughts about places I’ve visited, but provide informative and engaging content for anyone who happens to find this bog! ☺️

Fun Fact #1

My favorite meal is breakfast. I love it all, whether it’s pancakes, muffins, fruit, bacon, eggs, waffles, orange juice, or french toast!

Historical dress and costume design is a passion of mine. Eventually, I want to learn to sew and make outfits and costumes.

Fun Fact #3

I am fascinated with trains, especially steam engines. A dream of mine is to travel on multiple train trips worldwide.
